Integrative Counsellor | Brainspotting | Inherited Family Trauma Practitioner

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, past experiences, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck. Having a safe, compassionate space to explore what's going on can be the first step towards meaningful change.

Tim offers an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods to meet each person's unique needs. Alongside talking therapy, he is trained in Brainspotting, a powerful trauma-informed approach that helps process experiences that may be difficult to access through words alone, and Inherited Family Trauma work, exploring how patterns passed through generations can influence our present lives.

Tim's approach is warm, thoughtful and collaborative. He believes that every person has an innate capacity for healing and growth, and works alongside clients to help them better understand themselves, overcome emotional blocks and move towards a greater sense of peace, resilience and fulfilment.

A registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Tim has completed extensive trauma-focused training and brings many years of experience in mindfulness and meditation into his work where appropriate.

Tim's own journey into therapeutic work began nearly fifteen years ago while travelling and searching for a deeper sense of purpose. Discovering the profound value of supporting others led him to train as a counsellor, and he now feels privileged to help people navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity and respect.

Whether you're looking for support with a current difficulty or seeking deeper personal growth, Tim provides a confidential, non-judgemental environment where lasting change can begin.

Tim’s approach to counselling felt so brilliantly balanced. The whole year I spent with them felt very collaborative and I felt supported and challenged in just the right amounts. I feel that Tim’s listening skills are so good, and I always felt validated in the way I was feeling, and able to feel more in control of the complex emotions I was experiencing.
